The French bulldog puppies are happy-go lucky kind of dogs. They are very loyal and are devoted companions to their owners. They do not need rigorous exercise; few exercises are enough for them. They are best suited for apartment life. The French bulldog puppies are good with children and like plying with them. The French bulldog puppies require good caring, caution and diligent attention. The French bulldog puppies can be aggressive at times especially when they have same-sex fights. So, if you are considering bringing another French bulldog puppy at home, choose the opposite gender. For example, if you already have a female Frenchie at home, choose the male as another French bulldog puppy. The French bulldog puppies may be dominant in nature, so you need to train them for obedience and housebreaking at the time, when you bring them at home. Otherwise, with the passage of time, they become more dominant and disobedient, if they are not provided the proper training. You also need to remember that French bulldog puppies are slow learners, so you need to be calm and patient with them.

A healthy French bulldog puppy has a great strength. The sign of a healthy French bulldog puppy is its pink and warm tongue; it’s twitching during the sleep and if you pinch its skin, it will return to normal very quickly. An unhealthy French bulldog stops twitching during its sleep, rattles when breathing, the tongue is not pink colored, and if you pinch its skin, it will stay creased for a while.

The French bulldog puppies come in the following colors – fawn, brindle or pied color. Very few breeds also contain blue hue color, which is very rear or exceptional in French bulldog puppies.

Sometimes, people are curious about feeding their French bulldog puppies. In general, three scheduled square meals is required a day. You can feed your French bulldog puppy in two ways – One is the Free Feeding. In Free Feeding, dry food is put and left in the food container for the whole day. The puppy eats the food, whenever it feels like having it. Another method is Scheduled Feeding. In Scheduled Feeding, the food is placed and removed, whether the pup has eaten the food or not. This method is better as you can monitor and control the food intake and dietary needs of your pup. The scheduled feeding method is very important for housebreaking to maintain a routine to follow. The free feeding method breaks the discipline and food habit of the pup. It may result in weight gain due to over eating, because food is available all the time.
