Non-Sporting Group - Toy Poodle

A descendent of the Miniature Poodle, the Toy Poodle is the least robust of the three varieties, so it is essential to select from sound stock.

Coat: Profuse and dense; harsh texture.

Color: All solid colors; clear colors are generally preferred.

Features: Long, fine head; almond-shape eyes; ears set on high; chest deep and broad; tail set on high and carried up.

Size: Height at shoulders: under 10 in. Weight: IS lb.

Care: Requires regular visits to the canine beauty parlor. Use a wire-pin pneumatic brush and a wire-toothed metal comb for daily grooming.

Character: The Toy Poodle is happy and good tempered, and makes a delightful pet that is ideal for the apartment dweller who nonetheless enjoys a canine companion.
