![]() The Tibetan Terrier is not really a terrier at all, having no history of going to earth. It resembles a small < )ld English Sheepdog and is said to have been bred in Tibetan monasteries for farmwork and as a companion. Coat: Soft, woolly undercoat; long, fine outer coat that can be straight or wavy. Color: Any color or combination of colors. Features: Large, round, dark eyes; pendant, feathered cars; compact and powerful body; medium-length tail set quite high and carried curled over the back. Size: Height at shoulders: dogs 14-16 in, bitches slightly smaller. Average weight: 20-24 lb. Care Long coat needs regular attention. Character: Loyal, sturdy, a good walker, and devoted to its owners and to children, but a little apprehensive of strangers.
