![]() The Miniature Poodle, bred down from the Standard by using smaller specimens, became the most popular breed during the 1950s. Coat: Very profuse and dense. Color: All solid colors; clear colors preferred in show dogs. Features: Long, fine head; almond-shape eyes; cars set on high and hanging close to head; chest deep and broad; tail set on high and carried up. Size: Height at shoulders: 10-15 in. Weight: 26-31 lb. Care: Requires frequent regular visits to die canine beauty parlor. Use a wire-pin pneumatic brush and a wirc-toothed metal comb for daily grooming. Character: Intelligent and fun-loving.
