Gundogs Group - Large and Small Miinsterlanders

Officially recorded as one of the newest pointing and retrieving gundog breeds, the Large Miinsterlandcr has been established in its native Germany as an all-purpose gundog since the beginning of the 18th century.

Coat: Moderately long and dense, with feathering.

Color: Large Head solid black, white blaze, strip or star allowed; body white or blue roan with black patches, flecks, ticks in any combination. Small Liver and white with ticking.

Features: Head well proportioned in relation to body and slightly elongated; medium-size, intelligent eyes; broad, high-set ears; strong back; tail well set on in line with back.

Size: Large Height: dogs 24 in, bitches 23 in. Weight: dogs 55-65 lb, bitches 55 lb. Small Height: 19-22 in. Weight: 33 lb.

Care: Need plenty of exercise and at least daily brushing.

Character: Loyal, affectionate, and trustworthy dogs, sportsmen's companions, as well as family pets.
