Gundogs Group - Kooikerhondje

A fairly old breed, native to the Netherlands, the Kooikerhondje had to draw dvicks out of their cover by the banks of a dyke that was covered with netting. When the ducks investigated, the dyke was closed.

Coat: Moderately long and slightly wavy; feathering on chest, legs, and tail.

Color:Clear white with red patches.

Features: Head broad, with long hair on ears, pointed nose; tail long and curled to one side, bushy.

Size: Height at shoulders: 15 in. Weight: 20-24 lb

Care: Needs plenty of exercise and regular brushing.

Character: Intelligent, affectionate, and lively; good companion and a handy size for ; household pet.
