Toy Dogs Group - English Toy Terrier

The English Toy Terrier was developed from the smallest specimens of Manchester Terriers, which is why it is also known as Toy Manchester Terrier. It has retained its ancestor's ability to hunt vermin.

Coat: Thick, close, and glossy.

Color: Black and tan.

Features: Long, narrow head; dark to black eyes; cars candle flame shape and slightly pointed at tips; compact body; tail thick at root and tapering to a point.

Size: Height at shoulders: 10-12 in. Weight: 6-9 lb.

Care: Easy to care for, requiring little more than a dailv brushing and a rub-down to give its coat a sheen.

Character: Affectionate and intelligent, it is good with children but tends to be a one-person dog.
