Features: Narrow skull; small, bright, deep-set eyes; moderate-size, filbert-shape cars; muscular body; moderate-length tail, thick at root and tapering to a point.

Size: Height at withers: dogs 16-17½ in, bitches 15-16½ in. Weight: 18-22 lb.

Care: Needs space, enjoys average exercise, and coat needs regular trimming.

Character: Lovable, full of fun, and a terror when provoked. Easy to train and adores children.
