- Bulldog puppies shed their short and coarse hair in a moderate amount. It sticks to your clothes, carpets and even your hands when you pat them. Shedding is a major issue with bulldogs.
- Bulldog puppies make different sorts of sounds which may not be liked by some people. They do not bark very often, but their snorting, wheezing, snuffling, grunting, and loud snoring sounds might not be very pleasing for some people.
- Bulldogs slobber a lot, particularly when they eat or drink. Your clothes may get wet from their saliva when they shake their head.
- Bulldog puppies suffer various health problems. Their respiratory system is very weak. They have severe breathing problems. Hot or humid weather is very troublesome for them as they get difficulty in breathing. They also face various heart and skin problems. They need exercise to stay fit. They need to be taken care of very nicely. You will have to put good amount of money on their health care.

But you should consider that bulldog pups are generally very costly. Bulldog breeders charge high amount for the pups as they say that artificial insemination of bulldog is very costly.
